What to fill out

1. Your Usage Pattern

Choose the closest profile, enter daily usage, or describe the pattern in plain English. Commercial users can upload interval data when available.

2. Your Power Cost

Enter flat or time-of-use rates, feed-in tariff and annual price increase. Upload a bill if you want the project record to keep the bill details.

3. Your System

Select city, roof orientation, tilt, panel count and shading. If there is existing solar, enter it separately so it is modelled but not costed as new solar.

4. Battery

Enter the battery capacity you want to test. Leave it at zero for solar-only. The model charges from surplus solar and discharges into later load.

Reading Suggestions

The three sizes compare independence, lower export and payback. If you enter your own system size or extra/new solar size, the suggestions hide and the model analyses your chosen system.
